The SPPA Building was built in 2002 and officially opened in February 2003. It forms a unique BREEAM rated, sedum roofed, open plan office in the Tweedbank Area of Galashiels. The building was designed specifically to minimise the impact on the local environment. The green roof benefits local wildlife and increases biodiversity, but also provides additional insulation during cold weather.
