Discover the fascinating heritage of the Scottish textile industry with a visit to the Textile Collection at the Scottish Borders Campus of Heriot-Watt University in Galashiels. Items in the collections date back to the 18th century and include rare and early tartan, tweed, Bernat Klein and Paisley shawls.
Come along to a tour by curatorial staff to learn about the history of the campus and the tweed industry. View some of the University's Textile Collection, library and Bernat Klein exhibition.
Guided tours at 10:30am and 1pm.
