This venue is hosting pre-booked tours only - admittance will not be granted unless you have booked your space previously.

The Lossie home of Britain's first Labour Prime Minister, born in Lossie.  The house is furnished as he lived in it with many artifacts, pictures, items of furniture he had used in 10 Downing Street. 

Iona Kielhorn is the grand daughter of Ramsay and  currently resides in The Hillocks. 

Iona will be leading the tours and talks with the assistance of members from Lossiemouth Heritage Association. 

There will be 2 members/volunteers present at each walk to help answer any questions.

Walks will take place at the following times - 

Walk No. 1: 9:30am

Walk No. 2: 11:30am

Walk No.3: 2:30pm

This venue links to this years theme as the tour and talk will discuss Ramsay’s life story and his reasons to build the house, and information about the inhabitants and contents from when it was initially built to present.  This is all relevant to the overall history of Lossiemouth and its importance to the UK history.

Due to nature of items on display, it is recommended for ages 8 and above.

Only the two downstairs rooms are wheelchair accessible. 

Parking is available on the street but please be considerate to neighbours.
