Lossiemouth Fisheries and Community Museum is a local museum staffed by volunteers in the community. You are invited to come along on Doors Open Day to learn about the industries Lossiemouth was built on and the people who have called it home.

On the ground floor, you'll find an impressive collection of fishing boat models, alongside displays exploring the history of the local fishing industry. Step inside a model fishing boat wheelhouse, watch informative videos, and enjoy hands-on interactive items for children. You can also see the original light from Covesea Lighthouse on display.

Upstairs, explore an authentic study of J. Ramsay MacDonald, Britain's first Labour Prime Minister. The upper floor also features exhibitions on the history of the armed forces at RAF Lossiemouth, as well as displays celebrating the history of Lossiemouth and the wider Moray area.

There is no requirement to book in advance.
