In Person

The Alan Stevenson Covesea Skerries Lighthouse was completed in 1846 and is situated on the outskirts of Lossiemouth on the Moray Firth Coast. The views along both sides of the Moray Firth are wondrous and, when nature allows, there is much to be seen in the way of wild animals, birds and plants.

Guided mini tours of the lighthouse include a brief history and a climb to the top and out onto the balcony to take in the views. Tours are available at half an hour intervals between the hours of 11am and 1pm and are by appointment only. Book early to avoid disappointment by contacting info@covesealighthouse.co.uk please provide a contact telephone number at time of booking.

The Heritage Centre which shows the armed forces history of the area, is also open and welcomes all visitors! Drop in between 11am - 4pm and browse the artefacts, dress up in military uniform and try the flight simulator on the computer. There is no requirement to pre-book the Heritage Centre.
