Linlithgow Cemetery

West Lothian

A tour of Commonwealth War Graves within Linlithgow Cemetery. Participants will be met by staff and volunteers from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission who will give a brief overview of the origins of the CWG Commission and how our work continues globally today.   We care for over 1.7 million graves/memorials,  Over 21,000 of which are in Scotland.   

Following the introduction the participants will be guided around Linlithgow cemetery taking in a selection of the 32 First and Second World War casualties that are buried there, telling their stories and remembering them and their colleagues with respect and gratitude.

Tour is on grassy, unpaved paths, care should be taken and suitable footwear worn. Tour will be on grass at times.
