West Dunbartonshire
Internally we find a delicately and elaborately carved, cusped and traceried chancel screen with central gable. The altar rails have carved angels on gate posts. The altar and reredos were dedicated 1893. There is a war memorial by R M MacNaught of Denny & Blain, circa 1923. Some leaded glass windows are well worth a visit. In the eastern aisle is aisle, window by W Gibbs and a window by Stephen Adam, 1897 in the western aisle.
Of great interest too is that Charles Rennie Mackintish, the famous architect, married the artist, Margaret Macdonald here on the 22nd August 1900.
Tea and coffee is offered in the hall behind the church.
