GUIDED WALK
Old Kilpatrick graveyard dates to medieval times and for centuries has been the final resting place for the great and the good in the local community. Alongside the servants, farmhands and millworkers there are the engineers and shipbuilder who industrialised this part of Clydeside. It is also the burial place of ‘old money’ families like the Buchanans Hamiltons and Colquhouns. For those who have been before there’s new research and new names

The graveyard is reasonably flat, but uneven. Care is needed around tussocks of grass and a few steps as well as some broken gravestones
