Clydebank Library Museum and Heritage Centre

New

12 September 2026 (10:00 - 13:00)

West Dunbartonshire

In Person

This library now has a museum in its basement that celebrates the history of the area, from sewing machines to shipping. That includes the Blitz which affected much of this area. The library building was itself caught up in the bombing and we are fortunate that its rich facade was spared destruction. Ironically, books on National Socialism were damaged by shrapnel and these can be seen on display.
