Paisley - Tannahill Cottage and Paisley Burns Club
Renfrewshire
In Person
Tannahill's Cottage was built 250 years ago and was the family home of the Paisley weaver, poet and songwriter Robert Tannahill. When the family lived there it also served as their weaving workshop.
It is now the home of Paisley Burns Club. When the Burns Club was founded in 1805 Robert Tannahill was the first Secretary.
The Cottage is now used for the monthly Burns Club meetings, meetings of the Tannahill MacDonald Club and occasional community events.
