Paisley - Paisley West Church
Renfrewshire
In Person
2026 Theme
The church was designed by T.G. Abercrombie and opened in 1848. Originally Martyrs Free Church, its name has changed several times and today’s name reflects its union with St Columba church in 2021.
The building is in a Neo Norman style in red/buff sandstone. Inside are galleries on 3 sides on cast iron colonettes. The church also contains the original Gaelic Bible and Communion table/ war memorial from The Gaelic Church in Paisley.
This year, for Doors Open Day, we will be offering guided tours around our sanctuary.
