Lochwinnoch - RSPB Lochwinnoch Nature Reserve

Less than 20 minutes from Paisley by car or train, this wetland reserve is an ideal spot to get away from it all and enjoy some amazing wildlife with the family.

As one of the few wetlands left in the west of Scotland, Lochwinnoch is the perfect place to watch whooper swans, wigeon and a wide variety of ducks during winter months. There are fantastic wheelchair and pushchair accessible trails to explore, play areas for kids and places to sit and watch for the variety of wildlife around. Hot/cold drinks and snacks are available from the shop. Toilets and baby changing facilities on site.
