The Y Centre - YMCA Tayside

The Y Centre, run by YMCA Tayside, is located in the former St Andrew's and St Stephen's Church buildings in Atholl Street, Perth. The renovation, costing over £6 Million, has been designed with input from the young people who will use it, offers a safe space for people aged eight to 25 and saves two derelict historic buildings from demolition.
Open to all, join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Y Centre and a chance to learn about the building’s rebirth and our work with the people of Perth.
Split over three floors, the facilities include a digital skills hub, drop-in space, a gaming zone, gym, craft workshop, meeting spaces, quiet areas, and an outdoor courtyard centred around a restored historic well. Please invite your young people so they can see firsthand what we are all about.
Tours will be held on an ad hoc basis throughout the day.
