Our Cathedral is an A listed building by noted architect William Butterfield. We have to find new ways to raise money for its upkeep and to keep it alive, this includes using the building for other events, not just worship. We are an eco-community striving hard to reduce our carbon footprint. Our new icon of St. Ninian is one of two new pieces of art being installed this year.

A historic ‘A listed’ Cathedral of the Scottish Episcopal Church begun in 1849 and designed by William Butterfield. Our Lady Chapel, a later addition, was paid for by Mr. MacGregor, later immortalised by Beatrix Potter in her Peter rabbit stories.

Doors Open Day coincides with our celebration of the  feast day of St. Ninian.
