Aberdalgie represents one of the finest examples of an Ecclesiastical Church Cluster in Scotland, consisting of a beautiful church, WW1 war memorial and Oliphant Crypt whose history dates back to the First Wars of Independence and King Robert the Bruce. Renowned Scottish Architect Sir Robert Lorimer, whose family were from Aberdalgie, remodelled the interior in Austrian Oak in 1929.
