North Lanarkshire Heritage Centre is a free family visitor attraction located with Motherwell. Ideally situated with excellent train and bus links and within close proximity to local shops and cafes.

This four-star attraction offers visitors a range of facilities and services for an educational and fun visit for all families: Outdoor play area – including climbing frame, water table, giant games and more; Climb thru time – explore the history of the Motherwell area in a fun climb through our tower; Our popular viewing tower with views over Motherwell and North Lanarkshire; Gallery and exhibition spaces. North Lanarkshire Heritage Centre is a 1996 purpose-built design by architects Andrew Merrylees, Grierson and Robertson.

Family-friendly behind-the-scenes tours of our archives, local studies and object stores at 1.30pm and 3pm FREE (please call 01698 274590 to book).
