You can also join in with one of our BookBug sessions. Free, friendly, fun sessions of songs, rhymes and stories for babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers and their families and carers to enjoy together. Each session lasts around 30-40 minutes and has been designed to support children’s development while having fun. They take place in a very relaxed environment and are a great opportunity to spend some quality time with your little one, and meet other families, all in your local library. Saturday 11.30-12pm.

Don’t think the kids get to have all the fun! We will also have some of our adult lego sets available for the big kid in all of us, or if you fancy something even more chill, why not get yourself a coffee from our coffee machine in branch and take some time doing one of our jigsaws? We will also have an Open Book session for adults to get involved in, Open Book allows anyone to join in and share what they’re reading, led by a trained Open Book Reader, it’s a book club but not as you know it, no need to pre-read, and no pressure to read at all, just come along and listen and then get involved in a group discussion. Saturday 10am-11am.
