An Accredited museum in an old schoolhouse showcasing Caithness archaeology and social history, including Bronze Age and Neolithic artefacts and Pictish stones, and objects from the Duke of Kent's tragic plane crash in 1942. Also featuring the typewriter of Scottish author Neil Gunn, who was born in Dunbeath and featured the local landscape in many of his books.
After looking at the museum, head down to the harbour to see the restored Yole in the boathouse and restored buildings from the Villages fishing industry
