Walking Tour of The Gallowgate, Barras and Saltmarket

Join me on a short journey of the Gallowgate, Barras and Saltmarket to learn how East Glasgow evolved through time.
Learn stories of buildings past & present, pivotal events and how they shaped the wider city.
We will meet at Glasgow Cross, head up as far as Barrack Street then head into the Barras, then down into Greendyke Street and onto Saltmarket, we will then finish up at Saint Andrews Church.
This walk is led by Arthur McJimpsey.
Key Information
The first tour will be from 10:30-12:30 on Thursday 17th September.
The second tour will be from 10:30-12:30 on Friday 18th September.
Meeting Point is at Glasgow Cross.
Booking is not required.
