Glasgow
The Glasgow Police Museum tells the history of The city of Glasgow Police, the UKs first police force (1779-1975 through historical displays of uniforms, crime stories).
The International exhibition features uniforms and insignia from every country in the World.
Visitors are provided with a historical introduction to the museum.
As they progress around the museum staff will be present to answer questions and provide historical clarification of the exhibits.

Our building is wheelchair accessible and the small lift (110cm X 97cm) at the entrance is suitable for basic wheelchairs, takes the visitor to the 1st Floor entrance to the museum. The remainder of the museum is all on one level. See our website URL: www.policemuseum.org.uk/visit the Museum
