The Burrell Collection may be home to around 9000 objects spanning six millennia of history, but on this special architectural tour discover another treasure in the form of the building itself.
What does it take to make a building suitable for housing one of the "greatest gifts ever made to any city in the world"?
How did the architects bring to life such an innovative and timeless building whilst respecting Sir William Burrell's deeply personal vision for the future Burrell Collection?
Learn about the challenges of our recent large-scale renovation project, preserving one of Scotland's rare post-war Category A listed buildings and making it fit-for-purpose as a modern, sustainable 21st century museum.
