Edinburgh
St Mark’s is a historic, city-centre place of community on Castle Terrace, home to Edinburgh’s Unitarian congregation. Our community has roots in the city going back to 1776, and our current building has long served as a space for liberal religion, reflection, music, community gathering and welcome. We are an open, inclusive congregation that values freedom of belief, social justice, interfaith connection and hospitality.

A walking tour around the previous sites of Unitarians around Edinburgh will take place on the Saturday.
Volunteers are on hand to answer questions at other times and do mini tours of the building.
All welcome to the 11am service on Sunday.
The 2026 shared theme is Heritage at Risk: Revive, Resist, Reimagine.
In our 250th year, we will explore how Unitarian heritage in Edinburgh has been revived, resisted and reimagined through changing places of worship, creative community action and a continuing commitment to conscience, justice and welcome.
