Edinburgh
Saltyard is a Community Café and formerly was the 1991 St Colm’s Parish Church and forms part of the St Colm’s Sheltered Housing complex for retired tenants over 60 years of age.
While we explore the 2026 theme Heritage at Risk: Revive, Resist, Reimagine, in respect of St Colm’s Church and Saltyard, alongside that, we also explore allegorically the heritage of Christianity in Scotland; perceived to be at risk, and about revival, resistance and reimagination.
As the former building of St Colm’s Parish Church and Saltyard, a display of
- Heritage at Risk: Revive, Resist, Reimagine
- Christian Heritage of Scotland at Risk: Revive, Resist, Reimagine.
Self-guided viewing of displays with volunteers in attendance.
