The Queensferry Crossing was the biggest infrastructure project in Scotland for a generation. The structure spans 1.7 miles (2.7km) making it the longest three tower cable stayed bridge in the world and the highest bridge towers in the UK (210m)

Tour Details 

We will provide 18 guided tours of the Queensferry Crossing (QC). Each group will be max. ten people, a total of 180 tour spaces. 

• Tour places will be allocated via a random ballot, which will be open to the public on the CHAS website. All tours must be booked in advance
• Tour guests will register at the Contact and Education Centre in South Queensferry. Board a minibus to North Queensferry and enter the QC in the North abutment.  In organised small groups, a tour guide will take guests through the bridge deck interior providing commentary.  The tour will then go up to the bridge deck surface within the central reserve and walk up to the north tower.
• Safety inductions will be given and PPE supplied

We will also have an exhibition, educational games for children and the chance to enter a raffle for a prize of a trip for two up the Queensferry Crossing Tower. All money raised to CHAS. All of these activities will be available in the Contact and Education Centre where no booking is required.

• Places will be allocated via a random ballot, which will be open to the public on the CHAS website at www.chas.org.uk/qcballot until 21 August. Applicants will be invited to make an optional donation to the charity as part of the process.

Additional Access Information

Please note that wheelchair access, hearing loop and accessible toilet facilities are only available at the Contact and Education Centre.

Queensferry Crossing tours are not accessible to wheelchair users. All participants must be physically fit and able to walk up numerous flights of stairs and have the ability to walk distances.

The Queensferry Crossing tours are only accessible for children over 12 years of age.
