Pianodrome Warehouse

26 September 2026 (09:30 - 16:30)

Edinburgh

In Person
2026 Theme

We create unique playable, community-centred sculptures made entirely from otherwise disused pianos. As part of a large network of makers, artists, performers and volunteers we design, build and install, then utilise the created spaces to programme inspiring festivals, one-off events and educational experiences.

Informal tours of the warehouse workshop, auditorium and piano adoption centre. Hands on piano action dismantling and repair demonstrations. Open opportunity to play any piano you see!

2026 Theme: Heritage at Risk: Revive, Resist, Reimagine.

We revive pianos back to playability and give them to new homes. We resist the prevailing throwaway culture by using only recycled materials. We reimagine pianos which are no longer playable into sculpture and furniture.
