The building will be open with stalls showing some of the activities undertaken by the church.
We will also show how the multi purpose space serves both as a worship place and also a community facility. The church café will also be open for limited service (tea/coffee and baking).
The church community hopes to also invite Doors Open Day attendees to come tour the converted flats in the heart of the original church. Please note, access to these spaces are not wheelchair accessible.
Doors Open Days theme is Heritage at Risk: Revive, Resist, Reimagine. Dry rot was discovered in the church in 2001 which led to the redevelopment. The exterior of the building was retained and an imaginative development carried out allowing the church a continued presence as part of the development.
