Gracemount House ‘The Mansion’

We would love to welcome you into the grounds of Gracemount House, known locally as ‘The Mansion’, where you can share memories and learn of the significant heritage associated with the site, as well as learn about the species of trees onsite, of which we have one of the only two Jeffery Pine Trees in Scotland.

Please note this is an outside event and it is unlikely that we will have access into The Mansion.

  • Protected Tree talk (hear the stories as to how some of our trees came to be on the grounds of The Mansion) – 11am grounds of the Mansion (meet under the Jeffrey Pine)

  • ‘Stone’ soup and ‘wheat to eat’  - do you want to know the history of the walled garden and listen to some harvest tales? join us - 12pm (Walled Garden)

  • Family storytelling session – 1pm grounds of the Mansion

  • Tour of the grounds – on demand throughout the day

  • Walled garden – on demand throughout the day 

  • Living memories / sharing of stories – throughout the day 

  • ‘Find the faces’ – children and adults alike can complete our activity sheet as they walk round the outside of the building and grounds
