Welcome to this ancient church which for over 880 years has been a spiritual home for the people of Dalmeny. The history of the kirk is a fascinating one as it stretches back through the centuries to the days of the early Celtic saints and through such years has, in its own story, reflected the many political, social and religious changes that Scotland has been party to. The architecture of the building is quite outstanding for what you see is the most complete example of a Norman parish church in Scotland.
Activities
Church will be open for guided tours over the two days.
On the Saturday morning children in period costume will describe some key individuals in graveyard.
Also teas and coffees available on sat morning and Sunday afternoon for a donation.
