Corstorphine Old Parish is now part of a union with Craigsbank Church, also open for Doors Open Day, and are known as Corstorphine Old and New, Church of Scotland. The main building dates from 1429, with some earlier construction, on the site of a 12th century building.
Corstorphine Old Parish will celebrate our 600th anniversary in 2029. In preparation, a history panel has been active documenting and further researching the history of the building in cooperation with Corstorphine Trust and Edinburgh University Archaeology Department.
For Doors Open Days there will be self-guided tours with experts on hand to answer any queries and craft activities for children.
