Monimail Tower Project
East Fife
Monimail Tower Project is a small charity taking care of a beautiful walled garden and orchard set around a mediaeval tower house in sunny Fife.
The tower is dated to the 13th century and is a former residence of the Archbishops of St Andrews. It comprises three storeys over a basement, which was later altered to form an ice house.
There is a small exhibition about its history and after visiting the tower to see this you can take a walk in the walled orchard, garden and woods and see a range of ancient trees.
These are self-guided activities, but charity members will be at the venue to assist and answer your questions.
