Dundee
Go behind the scenes at the Archives and see original documents covering Dundee’s history from the 14th century to present day. The first part will be a tour of our stores to find out what the archives do and how we look after Dundee’s History. The second part will be a document display, featuring a selection of our most popular and interesting documents.
There will be four tours at 11am, 12 noon, 1:30pm and 2:30pm. Each tour will start from 14 City Square.
Entry is via booked tours only.
Facilities
Additional Access Information
There is one flight of stairs down from the entrance to the level of the archives. After that the rest of the tour is on one level. There will be no disabled access on the day of the tours.
Food or drink is not permitted whilst on the tours. Chairs are provided during the document display for those unable to stand for long periods. There are no chairs during the tour of the stores.
