Located in Dundee’s West End, the building is listed and provides a spacious gallery on the ground floor. Dundee Art Society is owner of this ground floor and garden since the late 1940s. James McIntosh Patrick was keen on its purchase. Formed in 1890 the society has had many well know artists as members and is still thriving today.
Dundee Art Society’s private collection will be on show. This includes past members David Foggie, Maclauchlan Milne, James Reville and of course McIntosh Patrick. The smaller gallery was recently dedicated to him.
Present artist members will be working on their own artworks and welcome questions regarding classes, workshops and talks hosted by the society.
Guided tours may be available depending on numbers.
