Located in Dundeeās West End, the building is listed and provides a spacious gallery on the ground floor. Dundee Art Society is owner of this ground floor and garden since the late 1940s. James McIntosh Patrick was keen on its purchase. Formed in 1890 the society has had many well know artists as members and is still thriving today.
This weekend will be the last chance to see the exhibition 'Where the Light Dwells - Faith, Hope and Art for a Wounded World' which displays artworks from the national Methodist Modern Art Collection that includes work by Graham Sutherland, Peter Howson, Francis Hoyland and others. The exhibition will be dismantled on Monday 28th of September and travelling to Inverness.
