We are a private Museum manned by over 50 volunteers. We have been going since 1978 in the former Church of St. John’s a ‘B’ listed building, which makes for an interesting visit. Also, we run an Outreach programme reaching out to the local school’s and groups with talks and demonstrations of artefacts.

For Doors Open Days there will be a slide show and talk at various times during each day on the Slides of Helen Drew our founding member. Staff will also be on hand to answer any questions.
