Central Fife
Built in 1872 Leslie Town Hall has provided a focus for the community for over 150 years. Since the restoration and refurbishment started in 2023 the building has been used as a theatre and community centre. We look forward to showing the public areas that are normally off limits including the stage, balcony and dressing rooms.
The Town Hall is also the home of Leslie Amateur Drama Club, Scotland’s oldest continuously performing drama club, which first performed on the Town Hall stage in 1905. There will be a display detailing the history of the drama club and the Town Hall.
To view the basement and balcony visitors need to be able to negotiate stairs Nearest public parking is at Greenside approximately 100 metres from the building.
Tours of the Town Hall available on request throughout each day, and why not continue your day with a tour of nearby Greenside, provided by the Leslie Heritage Group.
