BURNTISLAND HERITAGE CENTRE

Have you visited the Burntisland Heritage Centre in its new home in the Upper Library Halls? Whether you're a lifelong resident, researching your family history, or simply curious about our town's fascinating past, there's something here for everyone.

We open with special exhibition topics, 'Burntisland: Port of Grace' & 'The Search for Charles I's Lost Baggage Ferry'.

Step back into the 17th century and uncover the story of Burntisland's historic harbour and the enduring mystery of the King's lost baggage ferry. Discover the evidence, explore the history and learn about the search that continues today.

Whether you're tracing your family roots, reliving memories, or discovering something new about our town, you'll find plenty to explore.

While you are here you can view our large collection of model ships and an extensive collection and display of local fossils.

Come upstairs, we look forward to welcoming you!
