First opened in 1891 and designed in Scottish Baronial style by Robert Ingram. The Baird Institute contains collections offering a fascinating insight into the area`s heritage including a room dedicated to Labour Party founder Keir Hardie and provides a programme of contemporary art exhibitions.

Museum attendants will be on hand to guide and inform visitors.
