Tarbolton Parish Church

Ayrshire

In Person

Tarbolton Parish Church is a category A listed Neoclassical church built in 1821, designed by Robert Johnstone of Kilmarnock, in an elevated position with four-stage tower and spire.  Inside you can find out rare surviving box pews, the Norman & Beard organ from 1908, woodwork from 1907 by Allan Stevenson, and stained glass 1905 by J T Stewart, Meikle & Sons.  In the churchyard there are some interesting carved headstones and monuments, plus a late 19th century water pump by Glenfield & Kennedy.

For Doors Open Days our members will be on hand to show you around the church and there will be a quiz sheet for children.
