Opened in 1892, this imposing Gothic revival building is situated on the seafront with spectacular views over the Firth of Clyde. It was the gift of John Clark of the Anchor Thread Mills in Paisley. It is a Category A listed building. The interior is panelled in fine Austrian oak. The church contains outstanding Victorian stained glass. The entire building was refurbished in 2019 to help preserve its heritage. Known as Clark Memorial Church until recently, it has now become Largs Parish Church.
Our Conservation Project (2019) aimed to protect the rich architectural heritage of Clark Memorial Church. Heritage Lottery Funding helped to secure this.
