Galston Parish Church was built about 1810 to designs by John Brash from Glasgow. An early Minister was the Rev Robert Stirling who invented a hot-air engine and his sons became well-known locomotive engineers. Impressive interior with panelled ceiling, curved gallery supported by stone pillars, neo-Georgian decoration and ionic columns in the chancel and notable sculptures and monuments.

Sunday – IVPC Galston the church will have a live stream of the Church service from 11am, tea and coffee will be available in the hall after the service from 12noon and the buildings will remain open until 4pm

Members of the congregation will be guiding visitors around the church building and sharing the history of the local communities.
