Stonehaven Community Fire Station

Aberdeenshire

In Person

The community fire station, purpose-built and opened in 1980, provides a base for fire service personnel to respond to emergencies, train and engage with the community. It is currently home to 20 on-call firefighters. Two more appliance bays were added in the late 1990’s which now accommodate two emergency fire engines and a water carrier. They are often called to various incidents, such as road traffic incidents, domestic and commercial fires, flooding and water rescue.

On the day there will be tours of the station and demonstrations of our equipment. These will start on the hour and take approximately 30 mins.

Crews will be available to provide fire safety advice and information about being an on-call firefighter. The opportunity to register for a home fire safety visit will be offered.
