The Belmont Community Cinema

The Belmont Cinema is a much-loved part of the cultural heritage of Aberdeen. The cinema was designed by local architects and opened in 1896 as a Trades Hall. It opened as a cinema in 1910 and for decades has been showing an eclectic range of films. After closing in 2022 a charity was formed to save the cinema.

All events are free of charge, but donations are welcomed. All proceeds from Doors Open Day will go directly towards the Charity Campaign to Re-open the Belmont.
