Bon Accord Baths

We are a volunteer-led community charitable organisation progressing with plans to save and restore the iconic listed art-deco Bon Accord Baths building and eventually operate it as a community-led facility. This will provide leisure, health and wellbeing facilities alongside arts and cultural space, safeguard a significant historic building and create a community hub for Aberdeen city centre.
A main focus of this year’s event will be the unveiling of a significant large scale artwork by artist Tod Hanson (https://todhanson.com) whereby the pool basin will be transformed into an incredible installation.
Visitors will also be able to explore public areas of the building in the ground floor and pool hall. An exhibition will be on display showing the history of this unique building, it’s heritage and social connections in the city, alongside architect plans and updates on this buidling’s exciting future. Baths team members will be available to discuss the project at any point and speak to anybody who would like to support us or become involved.
