The Aberdeen Trades Union Council is the body made up of affiliated trade union branches and organisations in the Aberdeen and Shire area. The Council was formed in 1868 and is still going strong, playing an important role as it continues to support workers in these challenging times.
The space is also home to Aberdeen Social Centre which is an activist support and networking hub. The aim of the Centre is to build the capacity of and the connections between grassroots community activism.
A range of historical artefacts will be on display, providing a fascinating insight into the history of trade unionism in Aberdeen.
