Aberdeen Mosque and Islamic Centre (AMIC)

Aberdeen City

In Person

Recently acquired by AMIC, this grand granite building dates back from 1900's having been utilised as a primary school and more recently a business centre. Now serves as the Central Mosque of Aberdeen. We are in the early stages of the transformation project which we embarked on earlier this year.

AMIC is a place for Muslims to worship and perform daily prayers, in a congregation, weekly Friday prayers and Eid celebrations. It is also being used as an education centre and for other community activities such as weddings, lectures, Muslim and non-Muslim seminars and lady's events. It opened on 25 March 2022. The charity has been serving the Muslims and wider community for over four decades.
