This is a refurbished 17th Century Stables Block designed by David Hamilton and restored and re-purposed by Cassiltoun Trust.
Castlemilk Stables, originally designed by David Hamilton, was once a home for the horses and workers of the Stuart family fthat ell into decline in the 20th Century.
Cassiltoun Trust have restored the building and with architects Elder and Cannon have created a fantastic space and a multi- award winning building. The Stables is now a thriving community hub with offices, community facilities and a garden. Adjacent to the building is the fabulous Castlemilk Woodlands, part of the historic Stuart estate.
