I am Secretary of the Dundee Chapter of the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland, and coordinate Doors Open Days in a voluntary capacity, alongside my full time job as architect.
Must see new venues this year include the NCR Discovery Centre (a global R&D centre for NCR’s banking business) and the PDSA pet hospital for all budding vets. Dundee City Archives is giving behind the scenes tours to celebrate 50 years. Guided tour of Sheriff Court and cells is always a favourite and includes Court 1 where William Bury, thought by some to be Jack the Ripper, was tried and sentenced to death.
