The Tolbooth was the civic centre for the Burgh of Dysart and incorporates a room that was used as a prison cell from the 16th century. The Town Hall now houses the Dysart Trust exhibition of old photographs, mining display, old kitchenalia display, and the beautifully sewn Dysart tapestry. Steps up to the entrance door has a handrail but needs care for disabled or elderly people
Architect: Campbell Douglas & Sellars (1885)
The outside steps have a handrail but access is difficult for the less able.
