This Category B-listed building is a late Victorian purpose built whisky warehouse that retains almost all the original features. The whisky that was produced here was the Abbot's Choice Scotch Whisky. It was acquired by its current owners 30 years ago. We will specifically identify antiques and objects designed and made in Scotland from circa 1790 up to the 1950s. We will cover cabinet makers and designers such as: William Trotter of Edinburgh, James Mein of Kelso, John Taylor of Edinburgh, Sir Robert Lorimer and Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh, amongst others.
Activities: Interact with polishers and cabinetmakers to learn about their work.
