King Robert the Bruce spent his last days here in Renton. The Artizans aim is to promote tourism, employment and that the Heritage Centre acts as a bridge between those with a good knowledge of the Bruce, his life and times, and those seeking enlightenment on the subject of King Robert, in residence at Renton.
For Doors Open Days, visitors will be welcomed by an enthusiastic group of volunteers who will tell you about where Robert the Bruce’s mansion is thought to have been located and show you relevant items connected to him. This is an ideal place to bring the kids.
