The historic village of Forteviot is in the heart of the Strathearn Valley between Forgandenny and Dunning. No place has a better claim to be the Cradle of Scotland than Forteviot, where a Pictish royal palace once stood alongside a huge prehistoric ceremonial complex. The church contains a collection of Pictish stones and a historic handbell.
